2025 Pilgrimage to Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia

More details for the Communion Visit to the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia from February 19 – March 2, 2025.

As you are considering this trip, here are some clarifications based on questions we have received.

How physically strenuous is the trip? We can be flexible on this and we will cater the trip to the ability of those in attendance. A level of walking is sufficient. No hiking is planned. If there were to be interest, we could look into including some hiking in the program, however this would be optional.

Is there a reduction in accommodation cost for couples? Yes, there will be a couples’ rate applied to the hotel bookings however this is likely to be nominal. If there were those that were happy to, we could arrange twin share to reduce costs in some of the locations. The estimated cost of the visit (excluding external flights) will be USD $4,000 - $4,300 a person.  

Is there a “cancel by” date? Will all or part of the costs be refundable? It will be possible to cancel your registration up until December 31, 2024. All accommodation and internal flights (domestic and Polynesia flights) will be refundable. As mentioned in the earlier communication, payment is not taken straight away and we hope to communicate the final cost following the estimations in October 2024.
